Dedication

May the strength and tenacity that Jagrati showed in fighting her battle against ovarian cancer raise awareness to all women around the world. Her message to every woman is “Know Your Body!”
We urge you to be persistent in addressing any minor changes to your body, because ovarian cancer whispers, and is a Silent Killer……….so listen carefully.

Personal Description

Jagrati was born on March 6, 1967 in Mutare, Zimbabwe. From 1989 – 2000, she lived in Lusaka, Zambia with her husband, Udaysi, and their two sons, Viraaj and Heeral. In March 2000, the family moved to the United States and settled in California. In October 2010, Jagrati was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. In her battle with cancer she never gave up hope and fought until the very end.

Jagrati was a beautiful, compassionate, thoughtful wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend who touched the hearts of many people around the world. She was one of those rare, selfless people who connected with the young, old, sick and healthy. Her radiant smile always left a lasting impression.

She was dedicated and hardworking in every way. She was well-versed and devoted to Hinduism and shared her knowledge with many, both young and old. Her talents in cooking, and baking, especially “Lemington Squares”, brought immeasurable joy to everyone. Just a little feisty, but still caring, she enjoyed every moment of her life.

We will always love and cherish our memories of her. This is only a goodbye to her elegant, dignified, worldly body. Her spirit will guide us in our pursuit for excellence as we continue to fulfill her hopes and dreams.
